GROSS NATIONAL HAPPINESS CONFERENCE
TUESDAY, JUNE 1- FRIDAY, JUNE 4
CHAMPLAIN COLLEGE
Gross National Happiness USA envisions a sustainable future, based on the use of a comprehensive set of social progress indicators that reflects our American values and truly supports life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. GNH is an indicator developed in Bhutan and is based on the premise that the calculation of "wealth" should consider other aspects besides economic development: the preservation of the environment and the quality of life of the people. With the support of the UN Development Program, Bhutan has put this concept into practice, and has attracted the attention of the rest of the world with its new formula to measure the progress of a community or nation.

Some Pacem families, students, and faculty will be attending this event, particularly the GNH Ambassador Training.
If you are interested in knowing more about the conference and/or registering please go to: www.http://gnhusa.org

STUDENT AND PARENT ASSESSMENT OF FACULTY
JUNE 7-11
Pacem relies on great teachers to provide a superior academic and social experience - both in-class and during breaks and lunches. Please help us fine tune our program. We would like every Pacem student and one parent from each family to answer a short survey of our faculty to gauge how we are doing. The survey will be posted on our computers and may also be online. Parents and students can take the survey any time Pacem is open during this week or at the Presentation Celebration. We will keep you posted on how to take the survey.
